Stéphane Martel
General Manager of Expertech
Stéphane Martel is the General Manager of Expertech, and is also responsible for the Human resources, labour relations, communications and strategic planning. Stéphane joined Expertech in 1999 and since then has taken on various management roles in the Operations, Control Centre, Fleet and Quality Control Teams. Having worked in many geographic sectors and with many different teams, he has acquired a vast knowledge of our Operations. Stéphane is very active in his community; volunteers for diverse sports organizations. Stéphane has a bachelor's degree in Commerce, with a major in marketing.
Laval Brassard
Director Operations and Control Centre for the Quebec region
Laval Brassard is Director of Operations & Control Centre, Workforce Management and Operations Support team for the Quebec region. He is responsible for the team that handles the dispatching of Expertech technicians and he also leads the Strategic Programs and Workforce Management team of the Company. Laval returned to Expertech in 2012, after having worked here from 2003 to 2006. He was Regional Manager of Operations for Montreal, Laval and northern Quebec. From 2006 to 2011 he worked within Bell Field Services, in Cable Repair and Direct Sales. Laval began his career at Bell in 1996 in Quebec City, in Network Provisioning, where he held several different roles. In 2001 he moved to Montreal to take responsibility for an Engineering and Right-of-Way team. Laval is a leader who has a wide range of experience, from engineering and construction to network maintenance.
Erin Chedd
Director of Operations & Administration for the Ontario region
Erin Chedd is the Director of Operations & Administration for the Ontario region. She is responsible for field operations as well as the labour relations, human resources and asset management teams. Erin began her career in the legal field before joining Expertech in 2005. Since then she has held positions within the human resources and labour relations departments successfully negotiating several collective bargaining agreements and representing the company on files at arbitration as well as the Industrial Relations Board and Human Rights Tribunal. Erin holds bachelor degrees in Psychology and Law, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004.
