About Expertech
Expertech Network Installation is a major network infrastructure service provider for the wireline and wireless broadband technology market and employs over 1,300 experts: managers, technicians and administrative staff in Quebec and Ontario. Expertech's expertise and services extends from project management to outside plant construction such as cable installation and cable splicing and central office equipment installation.
Expertech Network Installation Inc. was established in April 1996 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bell Canada.
By the end of its first operational year, Expertech had fulfilled its mandate of implementing a new corporate framework focused on enhancing productivity, fleet, real estate, work tools and resource management.
In 1999, Bell Canada entered into a partnership with Canada's largest civil engineering and construction firm, SNC-Lavalin, which acquired one-quarter of Expertech.
